Welcome to Tala
Approximately 70 kilometers from Durban and 40 kilometers from Pietermaritzburg, Tala Game Reserve is a magnificent location teeming with a rich array of wildlife, including giraffes, waterbuck, impala, kudu, zebra and the cherished rhino.
At Tala Game Reserve, students from Grades 4 to 12 get the unique opportunity to camp amidst the splendor of the wild. The reserve is not only home to an incredible variety of wildlife but also provides an authentic camping experience in the bush.

Activities
Our activities offered at Tala are designed to challenge fears, enhance emotional management and foster personal development. These can be tailormade to suit the ages, and focus of the group. Amongst some of the activities offered, we have the following:
Abseiling
Daring natural face abseil off one of the local cliff faces. This helps clients overcome some of their personal fears and develops a sense of confidence. ​

Embark on an awe-inspiring night game drive, where clients can witness the reserve's nocturnal wildlife and hopefully witness the hippos out of the water.
